Featuring Munch’s recolored artwork rendered in blue, the feather-soft fleece exterior has a zippered back and a dark brown pillow insert. As this shade of blue is visible to dogs, it makes for a great sleeping spot for them.

It’s interesting to interpret Munch’s The Scream as how we look like when our dog leaves that bit of brown stinky “jewel” on the bed. 

About the artist & design

The design is clearly adapted from the famous The Scream artwork by Edvard Munch. Edvard Munch’s The Scream (1893) has been stolen multiple times, as it is one of the most iconic works in the world of art. Our recolored design is based on the lithograph print version he created in 1895.

In his own words, the artist described his inspiration for The Scream as follows:

“I was walking along the road with two friends – the sun was setting – suddenly the sky turned blood red – I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence – there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city – my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety – and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature”

As dogs can only see limited colors, your pup will see the blue and orange-yellow designs in varying shades of blue and yellow. To your canine friends, most of the other colors look gray.
